2 Outfits & 1 Pair of Skates (V-Day Looks)

Updated: May 23, 2019

Hey sugar!

First off, Happy Valentine’s Day! Today, as well as any other day, is a great time to express your love and gratitude for the people around you. Often times, people get so carried away on Valentine’s Day with buying tons of extravagant gifts and spending hundreds of dollars to show someone they care. Showing your love isn’t just for one day out of the year, it’s for every day! I like to show my partner that I care all year long, BUT what’s one day of extra candy and chocolates, right?

What are your plans for Valentine’s Day this year? My girlfriend and I were originally going to cook together and make a delicious dinner, but we decided it could be fun to dress up and get out of the house for a little bit. Whether you’re living up the night life tonight and grabbing a bite at your favorite spot or staying in and chillin’ with your loved one, finding a cute outfit with your Moxi skates for your occasion doesn’t have to be rocket science! And it definitely doesn’t have to be all pink and red! 😉

You didn't think I was going to own a skate blog and not talk about fashion, did you? LOL. If you can't tell by my 'fro and Moxi skates, myy personal style is “retro-chic” so I incorporated that into my looks. I didn’t have time to go shopping this week, so I came up with 2 outfits I already had in my closet that can be worn for any type of V-Day event.

Mini Dress To Impress

When you have dinner plans but you want to wear your skates. I absolutely love my legs, and I wish I showed them more. Hopefully it’s not too cold where you are, but here in Dallas the nights have been “warm” enough to show a bit of skin. I love that this outfit isn’t drenched in pink and is dressy enough for a night on the town and casual enough for a light stroll after your delicious dinner! I am so obsessed with the idea of roller skating in Dallas on lover's day, where would you go in this outfit?

Clemen-Time To Chill

When it’s way too cold out and you want to celebrate indoors. This outfit is super comfy and perfect for a kickback or when you want to look cute in your Moxi skates but stay at home. Ideally, I'd be skating to my friend's house in this outfit to chill and vibe. This retro crop top is perfect underneath a thick warm sweater in case you get too warm. And a huge sweater that matches your Moxi skates will make you look more put together, (even if you didn’t try!)
